Description

All jaw and sleek body, a huge russet brown piranha swims through the water with an ease that can only be admired. Unfortunately, that same sleek form allows the piranha to get close to its prey where its razor-sharp teeth can rend flesh from bone. In a group, they can be deadly within moments.

In Depth

Can come in the following colors: bronze, buff tan, dark brown, ochre, olive-brown, russet brown, sand-brown, tan, umber

Recall

You remember from your reading that piranha are commonly found in freshwater rivers and streams. Known for their voracious appetites, they come in many sizes, from small ones that are not much threat to adventurers to large ones that can make the most dangerous barbarian tremble in fear.

Tales are told of how piranha can rip the flesh from animals unlucky enough to get caught in a stream the fish call home. Stories, exaggerated no doubt, speak of cows being reduced to skeletons in as few as three roisaen!
