| So, last night Chieftan Ulstaan held a meeting at Forkbeard's Brodger in Stone Clan to discuss some upcoming things for the clan.
The highlights: - Repair of the doors and the sentinels. (Already done, it seems!) - Introduction of Master Blacksmith Baergar. He's Muckele's son, and will be taking over the Hoy after his father's retirement. He has plans for some new inventory. - Stone Clan is also going to start up a bardhtol, which Baergar will be in charge of. Means 'axe factory', and they're going to be mass producing axes and arms to sell to outsiders for revenue - A bit of talk about how Ulstaan believes Alret has the Elpalzi attacking Stone Clan to settle an old score, related to Shartug's death - A note that Stone Clan's forces fall under the aegis of the Zoluren military, but Maghana has given them leave to improve the Clan domain as they will - Apparently money was offered to help rebuild Stone Clan, but Ulstaan turned down the offer because: Ulstaan says to Baergar, "Aye, but I wished to send a message to the crown. We here at Stone Clan seek no aid, we ARE the crown's aid." - Ulstaan plans to set more meeting dates on the calendar, possibly monthly - Stone Clan's mine is doing well, and there are plans for building many things
You see Chieftain Ulstaan Hamarhowr, of Stone Clan, a Dwarf. Ulstaan has a square face, violet eyes and a bulbous nose. His red hair is shoulder length and wavy, and is worn matted down on top in a serious case of "helmet hair". He has leathery skin and a burly build. He is tall for a Dwarf. He appears to be mature. He has a thick bushy mustache that droops heavily on his upper lip and a thick beard twisted into three long braids. He is in good shape. He is holding a mug of Biiskbowr beer in his right hand. He is wearing a gleaming steel visored helm with reinforced eyelets and noseguard, a gold kyanite gwethdesuan, a gold jadeite gwethdesuan, a chakrel Dwarven war hammer amulet hung from a chain of twisted kertig links, a heavy steel plate gorget etched with the crest of Stone Clan, an enveloping cloak of rich brown seal fur with a deep hood and platinum clasp, a heavy leather mountaineer's pack with a sturdy ironwood frame, a silversteel mail hauberk coupled with a heavily padded gambeson, a dark blue armband embroidered with the heraldic device of the Stone Clan Militia, a round skirmisher's shield forged from a thick sheet of silversteel, some heavily padded mail gloves crafted from tempered steel links, a domed gold ring inset with an intaglio-cut onyx bearing the Hamarhowr family crest, a polished leather belt with a Dwarven greathammer hanging from it, a pair of wide woolen trews dyed a somber black and some knee-high Dwarven stomping boots with intricately engraved steel plates and toecaps.
He is holding a mug of Biiskbowr beer in his right hand. He is wearing a chakrel anvil amulet hung from a bar-chain of polished haralun, a stained leather pack tooled with a wingspread raven, a plaid flannel shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a dark blue armband embroidered with the heraldic device of the Stone Clan Militia, a dented gold wedding band, a scarred leather apron with many pockets, a polished leather belt with a square-faced throwing hammer and a T'Kashi mirror axe hanging from it, some rough leather pants buckled along the side of each leg and some dark leather boots with brass toe caps.
