Description

Seemingly all legs and claws, the spider crab stands tall on its spindly limbs high above the ground. White spots decorate the dark orange carapace, which is oval shaped and covered in fine hairs.

Spider crabs are found on the sandy eastern shores of the Seord Fal River and come in two sizes: Huge and Gigantic. They are resistant to puncture and slice damage.

Recall

Contemplating a gigantic spider crab, you remember hearing that these huge crabs are known scavenge for their food on the banks of rivers. Although slow and not particularly hostile, their thick body armor is more than enough to give hunters pause. Their large claws are well able to hold an unwary predator immobile while the mandibles do their work.

They are not known to cast any recognized spells.

They are not known to carry loot in locked boxes.
